OpenSSF Office Hours session 1 announcement: final review

Marta Rybczynska

Dear all,
I'm happy to announce that we're approaching the first session of the
Office Hours. Below is the announcement message (based on the work of
Michael S), please review in the next hours. The communication will
start in 24 hours.

Jory, Jenn and Jennifer, could we arrange posting it in a blog post?

Have a great day,
Marta

Announcing OpenSSF Security Office Hours

OpenSSF is proud to announce the Security Office Hours project. Office
Hours are an opportunity for open source project maintainers to
connect with security experts and receive help in any matter related
to their project's security posture. We can help with a design or code
review, talk through a feature, provide recommendations for security
tools, or anything else that can help maintainers create a more secure
project.

The first session will take place on October 28th, 2022. The
registration for projects willing to participate and ask questions is
open: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpKqFg34J5LjXDoujTQDCGK8fxF6yhy-U-zpCgJuOT2sRKbg/viewform?usp=sf_link

Help is available when you need it

All discussions during Office Hours are expected to be held in
confidence and not disclosed. Office Hours sessions will not be
recorded. Office Hours will be held regularly (the schedule is on the
OpenSSF public calendar). We ask for registration to make sure we get
experts for every question. We will provide assistance on a
first-come, first-served basis.
